Supplier Information

Jovita Beeston

Welcome to our offshore wind supplier section. ScottishPower Renewables is growing a portfolio of offshore wind projects which create many opportunities for suppliers to contract with us or our supply chain plan. Our ambitious growth plans include offshore windfarms in the UK as well as the Group's international offshore development in Germany, France and the USA.

Each of our projects have their own supplier areas where you can register and provide details on your company for future tendering opportunities. In order to encourage and monitor local and national content we have separate databases for each of our projects. Therefore, we would ask you register as a supplier for each project that interests you.

Otherwise, using the navigation bar on the left you can register for each of our individual projects, find out about their own procurement opportunities and send the project any queries you may have.

FAQS

Why should I register as a supplier?

ScottishPower Renewables is committed to working closely with its supply chain companies to provide safe, innovative solutions in a sustainable and ethical environment. We are keen to engage with companies that believe they have the skills and experience to work with us as a supplier. We want to continue to have a competitive and transparent tendering process for all contracts available with us.

How does the procurement process work?

Since 2016. ScottishPower Renewables Offshore Procurement processed over 4,000 tender processes representing an investment value of over £2.5Billion. The stages of procurement are:

  • Pre-Qualification

  • Invitation to Tender

  • Technical Evaluation

  • Best & Final Offer

  • Contract Award

If you have any queries relating to an individual tender process, please contact your appointed procurement consultant.

If I register as a supplier, does that mean I can be made aware of all project tendering opportunities?

If you are interested in becoming a supplier for multiple developments, you will need to register on their individual project supplier registration pages. We do this to ensure we can capture how many suppliers are looking to work with us based on the region of their sites. This is in the hope to make the tendering process as fair and competitive as possible. It is important, when registering on our supplier database to select all relevant fields you would be interested in supporting us with so you can be notified of relevant upcoming tendering opportunities.

I am having technical issues, who should I contact?

If you are having technical problems with the online SRM tendering tool once signed up, please contact Scottishpower- suppliers@scottishpower.com Their helpdesk is open Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30 and can be contacted on 00 02392638018. If you are having any issues with relation to your individual tender process, please contact your appointed procurement consultant. For any other supply chain queries or registration issues, please contact sproffshoresupplychain@scottishpower.com
